Re "City's arena financing plan appears workable" (Editorial, Dec. 14): The arena financing plan relies on a steady, and expanding, stream of parking revenues. What happens in, say, 25 years when people no longer access downtown via vehicles that require stationary parking? With our packages possibly arriving by drones in the future, who can predict how we will get around two or three decades from now? Maybe individual jet packs will replace the automobile. If alternative transportation takes over, where will the money come from to pay off the arena bonds?
