Re "Drought challenges Brown again" (Page A1, Jan. 12): After another year of Folsom Lake running dry, for whatever the reason, wouldn't now be a good time to send in the heavy equipment and dredge the lake? The dam has been built higher, so why not dig the lake out so it could store more water? I'm sure there is a company that would do it for the dirt alone. The company could even add a little artificial fish habitat as is sometimes done in the ocean.
