Styrofoam can be reused

Re “A green brainstorm means takeout food without the guilt” (Inside Busines, Jan. 11): Why send used Styrofoam containers to landfills? Styrofoam can be recycled into new insulation for roofing sheets or pipe insulation. It can also be used to keep ships afloat by filling double hulls or to help insulate the walls of trucks transporting frozen foods. -- Dale Creasey, Fair Oaks
