Re "Airport's numbers tumbling" (Back-seat Driver, Jan. 10): Several times recently, my husband and I have had difficulties finding our way out of Sacramento International Airport’s Terminal B. The directional signs posted in the new terminal are poor and incomplete. They were probably designed by alert people very familiar with the layout, thus not suitable for tired, infrequent passengers, many of whom arrive late at night. We were trying to go out of the terminal to where we parked our car, a commonly used parking lot. There were no useful signs, and when we asked, the staff gave us wrong directions. We had to go through several exits before finding our parking lot. I hope that airport management will evaluate the signs from the viewpoint of new visitors to Sacramento. There is much more to redesigning an airport than fancy decorations and art.
