Victims deserve sympathy, not convicted killers

Re “Unusual drug mix prolongs execution” (Page A6, Jan. 17): We should be done with caring what people who willfully murder others feel during execution or while serving life sentences. They have abdicated the right to live a good life or a pain-free death. I reserve my sympathy for the victim’s family and loved ones.
