Re "Sherman makes play, then makes noise" (Page C7, Jan. 20): I felt compelled to comment on the diatribe Richard Sherman shouted out on national television after the San Francisco 49ers-Seattle Seahawks playoff game on Jan. 19. Obviously, Sherman's formal education was halted many years too early, or he might have heard about "how to win with grace." He demeaned his game, and to what end? I know a lot of Northern Californians are going to be cheering long and hard for quarterback Peyton Manning and company to trim some serious Sea Hawks' tailfeathers. Go, Denver!
