Re “Final arena drawings unveiled” ( Page A1, Jan. 28): If the city is so bound and determined to force this arena on us, then could they at least find a design that fits this town? The pictures on the front page of The Bee show a gaudy, tasteless building that is worse than the cement makeover of K Street, done in the 1970s, previously the ugliest renovation. Why not try to blend into the Old Sacramento or Capitol style? This design offered is like wearing plaid and stripes together. It doesn't fit in Sacramento.
