Re Downtown arena: Having known and worked with Shirley Concolino, I can state with confidence that Concolino did not make a decision regarding the ballot measure petitions due to personal opinion.

Rather, she interpreted the law and made her decision based on only the law that she is bound to follow. Concolino has been City Clerk for years, working with many mayors and council members, always following the laws she pledged to embrace as city clerk. Do not think just because she and the mayor work in the same building that she would ignore the election laws. Concolino is a woman of integrity.
