Re water restrictions spur tattling by neighbors, feb 4

Tattling is something children do to report trivial transgressions that have little if any harmful consequence. "Water restrictions spur tattling by neighbors" as a headline, trivializes an emergency situation. I was further surprised that you would turn to an Oklahoma advice columnist to weigh in, rather than stick to environmental and water management experts. I have a feeling if you were to ask them, the words "civic duty" would be used before "tattling."
