Justin Reiter's roots

Back in 1980 through 1984, I worked as a bartender on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe with a terrific person and athlete, Brenda Reiter.

Brenda had given birth to her first child, a boy she named Justin. In the tremendous snow year of 1983, they were stranded without power, in her little cabin by the lake. Brenda called, and Elizabeth Sutter and I drove to her house, dug her and Justin out, and brought them to our house for a couple days.

Guess what? Justin is in Sochi to compete in the parallel giant slalom and parallel slalom.
