McKinley Village: Don't build it

As a resident of the McKinley Park neighborhood, I am deeply opposed to the proposed McKinley Village project. This project would bring nothing positive to the surrounding neighborhoods.
It would bring negative consequences such as increased traffic and congestion to Mckinley Park and East Sacramento. Due to our development friendly mayor and city council, I can only see this project going forward, regardless of drawbacks.
Knowing that I am powerless to stop it, my only remaining wish is that the developers would change the name of the project. Rather than use the name McKinley to create an artifical association to the McKinley park neighborhood, how about naming it Mistletoe Village? This name would more truly reflect the parasitic nature of the developers.
