Smokers not always considerate

On the patio at Carl's Jr. in Davis, a smoker was at another table. The smoke was bothersome but I said nothing. He threw his cigarette on the ground still smoldering. The smoke was annoying, so I got up and put it out.

With a great flourish, he lit another and puffed up a big cloud and then threw it on the ground.

I said, " I am not objecting you smoking, but when you are done there is no point in my still having to deal with the smoke."

"Go to Hell," was his reply.

I wish I had said: "Sir, I probably will. And I am sure you will too. But I will not see you there. I will be in the smoking section, and you will be in the non smoking section."
