Re "Glut of housing projects in region" (Page A1, Feb. 12): Placer County is one of those counties with overblown plans to resume home construction just like in the pre-recession days. Remember what happened?

The Bee estimates 200 percent more homes are planned than are needed and no jobs or taxes to pay for them. Same old routine by the same old folks at the county level. Farmers and developers are getting our supervisors to OK the projects. Definitely time for a change in county leadership.
