In praise of aspirin

Re "ADHD, Tylenol in utero linked?" (Page A1, Feb. 25): Now we read that acetaminophen may be causing in ADHD, lowered IQs and other problems.

Why does our culture continue to say acetaminophen is good, aspirin bad, because aspirin may cause stomach bleeding? Aspirin is one of the miracle drugs of the last century due to its pain relief and cardio vascular benefits. What's the problem here. Is it too cheap, and therefore only marginally profitable? We need scientific cost-benefit comparison studies of the two drugs.
