Re "One by one, retailers shut their doors" (Our Region, March 2): The article about the struggling Country Club Mall, the Town and Country Village was mentioned several times. This didn't mention the one business that has been in the village since the beginning, Anderson Brothers Pharmacy. It is a family-owned pharmacy that has been in the village since 1949.

Anderson Brothers Pharmacy celebrated its 65th anniversary. It is one of the oldest family owned pharmacies in the Sacramento area. In this world of large chain pharmacies, it's a nice change of pace to have a local pharmacy, where they have great customer service and know your name. Help support local small businesses. Shop local. Shop small.
