Obamacare serves pre-exisiting conditions

The new health care laws are not just about getting yourself covered.

Health insurance is important even for people who are young and healthy. The other reason you need to be covered is so people with pre-existing conditions can get coverage.

Obamacare was a deal between insurance companies and private citizens. They agreed to do away with all stipulations related to pre-existing conditions in return for the assurance that everyone would be covered, so that they couldn't just buy insurance once they became sick.

Without Obamacare, people like me who have genetic diseases could never have health insurance in the private market. We were immediately denied.

Think about more than just yourself when you oppose Obamacare.
