Carmichael, vote no on Proposition 13

It is really appalling that Carmichael Park District's plan to fund questionable upgrades and security is done in a manner to circumvent the Proposition 13 property tax limitations. This is done by creating a voting system that skewers the numbers of votes available to be cast to entities that are not subject to these increased taxes, such as the Park District and the San Juan School District.

This is a clear attempt to get around Proposition 13 and should be given a "No" vote by the Carmichael voters.
