Term limits too long

The state of California once again has had politicians abuse our trust. When the voters implemented term limits, I thought that would solve our problem. Obviously what voters wanted from our elected leaders failed to materialize.

Voters need to think about cutting the term limits in half, allowing them a shorter time period since they seem intent on ripping us off. If they are in office a shorter time period, it gives them less time to take us to the cleaners. Right now this seems to be a Democrat problem. I'm sure in time the Republicans will also have the problem. The problem seems to reside with the party in power, and today the Democrats seem to be abusing our trust.
