Not worried about global warming

Re "Yes, climate change is real and it is damaging" (Editorial, April 1): As a proud man-made global warming skeptic, the latest report just doesn't scare me. In fact, the intent of the report seems to be just that as fewer people outside of editorial boardrooms, Hollywood, academia and those with far-left world views are worried about it.
Sure, the vast majority support the advancement of cleaner fuels and are conservationist in nature. However, this same majority isn't willing to commit economic suicide by driving energy costs through the roof, which is what the solutions proposed by the advocates require.
Finally, after reading the article, and all of the damage forecast, I find it a little strange that it doesn't cite one benefit of warming anywhere. Not in Russia, Canada, Northern Europe or our Midwest? Nothing good, all bad. In fact, the narrative is so dire, one would think we should give up and perish now.
