Baseball replay system problematic

Based on what I saw in the Giants/Diamondbacks game on April 1, the replay system is going to be a big problem.

The officials in New York took 3 minutes and 21 seconds by my count to decide that a pick off call at first base was correct, and in my opinion from the replays they got it wrong.

But that doesn't matter because baseball is a game played and judged by human beings, and humans make mistakes.

I have seen surveys where the umpires get it right 98 percent of the time. Sometimes it's to your benefit, sometimes not.

I'm sure the law of averages even things out, so let's just play the game and enjoy. If we need to improve the game, let's have rules about how many times a pitcher can step off, a batter can step out. Three hours is a long time.
