What kind of society are we?

Why is it that when corporations or hedge fund managers pay little or no tax they are considered good business people, yet when people lose their jobs due to these so-called good business decisions, some politicians believe we shouldn't have giveaway programs like unemployment and food stamps to help people.

If Paul Ryan's budget is so concerned with our crushing debt, why is he lowering taxes on the top bracket? It seems the true wealth redistribution schemes are being done to give the wealthy even more wealth. President Obama is the only one talking about helping the middle class and students. I think our Founding Fathers would appreciate his ideals.
