Sacramento property owners overlooked

We just learned of the imminent construction of the Raw Water Intake facility for the Woodland Davis Clean Water Agency project. The project location is west of Sacramento International Airport next to our home. Was anyone in Sacramento notified of opportunities for public input?

We have enjoyed a beautiful view here for over 30 years. We have seen documentation that indicates there will be no significant impact to views. It seems inconceivable nobody would reach out to us in an effort to consider the folks who live closest to the site.

We are hoping that, at the very least, it will be perceived to be fair that we might be offered an opportunity to participate in the design aesthetics. We believe the lead agency should be held accountable for disregarding their responsibilities to notify us and our neighbors.
