Only the searchlights are missing

Re "Fix50: first days": Like most Downtown/Midtown residents, I prepared myself for Fix50. I did the errands, stocked up, planned flexible trips and routes and even committed to the bicycle and walking for the next two months.
However, I was not prepared for the constant noise of the news and other helicopters monitoring Fix50. They sit a few hundred feet above our homes, hovering almost around the clock. They were still there at midnight and to wake me up at 6 a.m. News agencies seem obsessed with spotting that first car coming into town each morning and the one going home at midnight.
It feels like I moved into L.A. gang territory. We need only the searchlights to complete the scene. City Council could pursue some temporary air restriction hours, with exceptions if a major event occurs after 8 p.m. or before 7 a.m.
