Re "Dems look for way past turmoil" (Page A1, April 26): Why is it liberals always cry foul when a court decision doesn't go their way? I'm referring to state Democrats' reaction to the Supreme Court's ruling on affirmative action. I could use up my 150 word limit many times over with other examples.
I also wonder if Luis Alejo and Kevin DeLeon really would have been admitted to UCs had they not been of Latino decent. I don't believe Caucasians get a leg up just because they're white. I'm sure the UC system has very definitive criteria for entrance. Nobody should be considered for admission based only on race, color or creed.
