Clayton Lockett: Botched execution?

Re "Capital punishment is too broken too fix" (Editorials, May 2): The Bee is feeling sorry for poor Clayton Lockett's botched execution because it took him 40 minutes to die after the insertion of the lethal injection, and then he died of a heart attack. His only "crimes included burying his victim alive." I wonder how long it took the victim to die as they laid there in terror. Sure sounds like poetic justice to me.
