Nothing "fun" about wasted taxes

Re "Film-subsidy debate leaves out the fun factor" (Viewpoints, May 7): Well isn't that just peachy? Some folks are able to have fun spending my tax dollar. How nice for them.

Let's overlook the fact I worked for that tax dollar. Student debt is skyrocketing, but some people are having fun. California infrastructure is eroding but oh, some people should have fun.

Surely you want some people to have fun while children go to bed hungry, and some senior folks are having trouble making ends meet. Can you come up with some other frivolous but fun ways to spend my hard-earned tax dollar?
