Immediate reduction of global warming

Re "Report says climate change is here" (Page A1, May 7): With the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change declaring man-made climate change irrefutable, and with President Obama now demanding stricter emissions on power plants, might the White House issue an executive order immediately banning all vehicle drive-ups?
This includes at ATMs, fast food restaurants and Starbucks. Cars not idling reduces the quantity of global warming carbon dioxide, and this action costs the economy very little. Additionally, encouraging walking is beneficial.
