Sick of the arena coverage

My wife and I decided to get out of Dodge for a few days. We didn't read any newspapers, watch any TV or listen to any radio. Know what? We didn't miss any of it. We didn't even talk about any media.

Then we came home and all my past papers were waiting for me. As I stacked and arranged in order to read the papers, the same old headlines stood out. Nothing but the arena.

I did affirm two of my strong heartfelt opinions. First, The Bee does not have any high school sports promoting unless it's the playoffs. So why read the sports section? Second, Marcos Breton is a one-trick pony. It's either about his heritage, his weight or the arena.

The Bee's top officials need to get out of Dodge more often and breathe some fresh air.
