Isla Vista: Outraged by America's gun laws

I am angered with the United States' lenient gun laws that allow for disasters such as the Isla Vista shooting to occur. Weeks before Elliot Rodger began his shooting rampage, he was in police custody and unwisely cleared by our law enforcement.

Meanwhile, the state of Georgia is now allowing for guns to be taken into public places. This is the wrong direction for America, and lobbyists like the NRA are only adding to the likelihood that the situation will occur.

I feel as if I am hearing about shootings all the time on the news, and nothing seems to be getting done in Congress to stop this. The U.S. needs stricter gun laws to ensure the safety of our citizens and that this event will never happen again.
