Worse issues plaguing Native Americans

Re "Area tribe makes its point"(Page A1, June 12): Too many people in this country have too much time on their hands. Rather than worrying about the Washington Redskins' name, those opposing it should concentrate on the myriad problems facing Native Americans, such as rampant drug and alcohol use on reservations, high unemployment and problems caused by their casinos. This includes excessive gambling and excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages, both of which cause many domestic problems.
