Milbank is wrong

Re "More ugliness on Benghazi" (Viewpoints, June 17): Dana Milbank intentionally mischaracterized the exchange between a Muslim student and panelists at a Heritage Foundation event. The panelists acknowledged that most Muslims are peaceful, but that the radical Islamists number up to 300,000,000 people, and that is a real threat. The question of who is the head of the Muslim peace movement is a good question which Milbank won't answer.

The sad truth is there is no Muslim peace movement. In Iraq and Syria, Muslims kill Muslims and in Nigeria they kidnap girls, but Milbank chastises those who point out the dangers of radical Islam. Brigitte Gabriel's comments were harsh but true as she recited atrocities committed by Japan, Germany, China and Russia where the majority of the citizens were peaceful, but were not willing or able to stop genocide.
