Poetically explaining Iraq

Militias are forming and children are crying Machine guns are blazing and people are dying

Sectarian violence has run amok while Western leaders pass the buck

As between Sunni and Shia the dye has been cast Generations of fighting are hard to get past

Scars from old battles rise to the surface dredging old feelings that now have a purpose

Pride has been wounded, blood has been drawn We should never have gone where we don't belong
