Re "Sticker shock is coming at the gas pump" (Viewpoints, June 19): Jay McKeeman is vice president of government relations and communications for the California Independent Oil Marketers Association. That says it all.
Well, he says it all. "Most Californians who can afford to buy a more fuel efficient car...have already done so." He's worried about the little guy. How many nice looking SUVs, pickup trucks and vans do you see tooling around running errands with just a driver? Maybe there's a purpose for this cap-and-trade thing that's going to increase our price of gas.
