Informing the electorate

For quite a while there seems to have been a political leaning by the media toward one political party. Specifically, I have had a subscription to The Sacramento Bee for many years, and recently I have failed to see any articles on the front page related to news, which in my opinion a free press would find its duty to provide to the public. Two examples are the IRS scandal and the president's failure to follow the law as related to the Affordable Care Act.

The Bee could be a leader by putting some significant news on the front page for all of the people to learn from, and then we may have an informed electorate at least in the Sacramento area.

Free press is not what it used to be.
