Illegal entry becomes anarchy

Re "Progress slow since Proposition 187" (Our Region, July 6): A person knocks on your door and wants you to let them in for food, a bed and medical care. This is your home so you say "No." There are other ways to ask but not at your home.

In his July 6 editorial, Marcos Breton continues to champion access to public services by illegal immigrants when, in fact, that is what is causing our illegal entry problem. Breton, this country is our home, and a lot of us don't want to pay for the freebies. A lot of us still respect the law. There is a way to come to our door, but illegal entry is not it.

What is happening along our border is not immigration. It is anarchy, and it must stop.
