What to do about immigrant children

Re "Immigrant children deserve our compassion, not jeers and taunts" (Editorial, July 6): This piece assumes children are trying to escape danger. No one knows this for sure. It's just what they have been told to say.

The president's actions are responsible for most of this recent influx of children, since they are all being processed according to the head of homeland security. If parents are located, they should be united. If the parents are here legally, let them stay. If not, deport the whole family back to their country. All children who do not have parents here should be deported immediately.
