Differing responses to murder of innocent children

Re "Six arrested in burning death of Arab teenager" (Page A1, July 7): The last week we all heard the bad news of four teens being murdered, Naftali Fraenkel, Gil-Ad Sha'ar, Eyal Yifrach and Mohammed Abu Khdeir. These are all awful. What is amazing is the differing response.

Israel quickly arrested the alleged murderer of Abu Khdeir, and they will be tried and punished. The Israeli people are condemning this horrific act. This includes the parents of Naftali Fraenkel, Gil-Ad Sha'ar, and Eyal Yifrach

The Palestinian Authority is doing nothing to capture the murderers of Fraenkel, Sha'ar and Yifrach. When the horrendous crime took place, numerous Arabs celebrated and the murderers are looked on as heroes.

There were numerous riots by Arabs in the wake of the murder. In Israel, there were numerous prayer services.

With such a difference in attitude, can there every be peace?
