Border crisis: The urgent need of action

Re "Backlogged immigration courts face new deluge" (Nation/World, July 12): If Congress doesn't work with the president to solve this humanity crisis, more juveniles will be filling those detention centers. This is also happening because lack of border enforcement in their mother countries.

It's also understandable that many Central American countries are not having the most peaceful and democratic environment. The funding of resources is diligent and urgent to give the appropriate care for those children in custody, and to enhance the security in the borders. Taking action is the only way this crisis will come to an end. Accelerating the deportation process is one of the ways this issue can be address.
