I was volunteering at the airport today and made a call to the 911 operator, reporting that a traveler was in distress. Within one minute of my call, airport-based law enforcement was on the scene followed by the airport EMTs 30 seconds later and then regular firefighters about one to two minutes later.

I know that each was only doing their job, but what I witnessed was remarkable. It sure is great that if you are in need, efficient and timely help is out there. Thank you for being there for all of us.
