Re "Israel vs Gaza" (The Drawing Board, July 27): Although many of us are saddened by all the deaths occurring in the Middle East, your editorial cartoons present an unfair and biased picture of the conflict.
Where is the portrayal of Hamas firing hundreds of rockets into Israel, the picture of Israelis running to bomb shelters for protection from Hamas' ongoing bombardments, Hamas' rejections of a humanitarian cease fire, Hamas' continued refusal to accept Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state? Where are the depictions of the tunnels used to store and transport weapons from Gaza to be used against Israel and Egypt?
In case you were unaware, as of July 27, 2,214 rockets have been fired from Gaza to Israel aimed at heavily populated areas. It does not help your readers understand the conflict when you depict such anti-Israel bias.
