The Central Valley Health Network joins more than 1,200 Community Health Centers nationwide to observe National Health Center Week, August 10 through August 16 to recognize the importance of Community Health Centers in providing access to affordable, high quality health care to underserved populations. Health centers provide access to primary care services by accepting a wide range of payments. The care is affordable, and studies prove the quality of care is as good as anyone will find in other health care settings.

A healthier community, fewer hospital ER visits and significant economic contributions to the Valley economy: that's what health centers provide. Many health centers in the Valley will be offering health services, screenings, education and information on wellness and chronic disease prevention during this week. Plan to attend one of these events to see the amazing work these organizations do for their communities every day.
