Re "Kamala Harris stays on message, which means she bobs and weaves" (Dan Morain, Aug. 10): I usually read Morain's opinions with interest. They are generally well thought out, even if I do not agree with his conclusions.
However, his comments regarding Kamala Harris' interview with The Bee were childish and petty. He wanted to pin her down on some controversial issues, and she declined. OK, so he did not get the scoop he wanted, but is that a reason to attack her? He came off sounding like the like the little boy who could not win the game, so he grabbed his ball and ran home.
I hope this is just an anomaly, and future columns will return to his normal high standards.
