Border crisis: Those don't look like kids

Re "A tale of two border kids" (Page A1, Aug. 13): The family photo shows four people who look only days away from retirement age. Hardly a couple of kids.

At ages 18 and 20 years, U.S. kids would be out on their own and looking for work, not trying to pluck the heartstrings of the American public and looking for a freebee. Having gotten out of Guatemala and into Mexico, it was time for the so-called kids to stop and start a new life.

This story is really pretty lame.
