Simple tax question

Re "Bonds not the best way to fundraise" (Letters, Aug. 14): Matt Nelsenador, a "liberal Democrat and math teacher", stated he wants more taxes, not bonds. I am certain he's not alone as I see most, if not all, liberals wanting to spend money. Bonds or taxes, it's all about money. The problem with liberals is they continue to do both at rapid speed and it's killing us.
I ask this one question publicly: for every dollar that you make, how much of that dollar are you willing to give to the government to spend as they wish? This should be a true litmus to ourselves of where we truly stand.
Liberals, take this question as a challenge. If there are no responses, then I can only assume liberals opt to refrain due to fear of exposure; be it ignorance, denial or otherwise.
