Ferguson: What about racial crime in Sacramento?

The usual local suspects have convened a meeting of the concerned over the events in Ferguson, led by Mayor Kevin Johnson. I do not recall such concern for the huge amount of black on black crime commonly perpetrated in our own city.
Case in point: the recent conviction of shooters in the barbershop horror, the convicted bringing in an AK-47 and various other large weapons, murdering a black woman trying to save her child. Were there protests and meetings when that occurred or in my North Sac neighborhood when young blacks are routinely slaughtered in the streets? I don't think so.
This is rank, political opportunism at its worst.
