Re "Ose unsuitable to replace Bera" (Letters, Aug. 25): I always get a kick reading letters from people such as Stephen Farr who know nothing about The Affordable Care Act. It is anything but affordable.
My wife and I are both small-business owners who saw our premiums almost double for a plan that is much worse than what we already had. And yes, we did go online Mr. Farr, and the programs are worse and more costly.
President Obama flat-out lied in telling the public that they could keep their existing plans when he knew those already purchasing their own plans would bear the brunt of the costs of Obamacare. Speaking bluntly, I could care less that millions have signed up for this garbage as I'm the one having to pay for it.
Hopefully, the Republicans will take back the White House in 2016 and overturn this awful, deceitful program.
