Re MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER STORIES

WHEN I LAST LOOKED AT A MAP THE PROPERTY ELK GROVE IS PLANNING IS IN THE UNINCORPORATED AREA. IF SO TO ANNEX AND REZONE THE PROPERTY THEY WOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH LAFCO. AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO AGREE TO A REVENUE SHARING AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SACRAMENTO. ONE OF LAFCO'S MISSIONS IS TO SAVE AG LAND. THE CITY OF SACRAMENTO HAS A SEAT ON LAFCO. IN ADDITION, A MAJOR CONNECTOR ROUTE IS SCHEDULED TO BE CONSTRUCTED ON GRANT LINE RD. IN ADDITION THE FREE FLOWING COSUMNES RIVER IS CLOSE TO THE PROPERTY. IT IS THE ONLY FREE FLOWING RIVER IN SACRAMENTO COUNTY AND IS SUBJECT TO FLOODING. WITH ALL OF THESE CONCERNS I WONDER IF THE GROUP PUSHING THIS LOCATION IS JUST TRYING TO GET "SOME OF THE ACTION" FROM WARREN SMITH'S GROUP. THAT IS A TYPICAL TACTIC OF THOSE WHO SERVED IN LEGISLATURE.
