Adopt a cat at the SPCA

Published: Thursday, Jul. 17, 2008 | Page 2G

The Sacramento Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will hold a cat adoptathon and reduce cat adoption prices this month.

The adoptathon will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today until Sunday at the Sacramento SPCA, 6201 Florin Perkins Road, Sacramento.

With kitten season in full swing, the SPCA has more than 100 cats and kittens available for adoption.

Cat adoption prices will be reduced to $40, and two cats or kittens can be adopted for the price of one.

The special cat adoption prices will continue through the end of July.

All adoptions include spay-neuter surgery, first set of vaccinations, microchip identification implantation, behavior assistance, a feline leukemia test, certificate for a free veterinary visit and more.

For more information, visit the SPCA at www.sspca.org/ or call (916) 383-7387.
