A flag ceremony with speakers begins at 8 a.m. at William Jessup University's flagpole, 333 Sunset Blvd., sponsored by the university's public policy department.
A commemoration starts at 11 a.m. at Rocklin Cemetery, Veterans Memorial, 4090 Kannasto Road, sponsored by Rocklin American Legion Post 620 and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Roseville
A breakfast and ceremony begins at 8 a.m. at Roseville Veterans Memorial Hall, 110 Park Drive, sponsored by Roseville American Legion Post 169. A pancake breakfast is from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the dining room. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. in the auditorium.
A ceremony is at 2 p.m. at the World War II Monument, 114 Vernon St., sponsored by the city of Roseville, Surewest, Roseville Historical Society and local veteran groups.
Sacramento
The 18th annual service honoring Mexican American veterans and all veterans begins at 1 p.m. at the soldier's statue, Capitol Mall and 10th Street.
Woodland
A celebration with speakers and music starts at 11 a.m. at Yolo County Courthouse, 725 Court St., sponsored by American Legion, Yolo Post 77 and Yolo County Veterans Coalition.
