Update on Sacramento airport's 'big build'

What: Sacramento County Airport System gives its periodic report to the Board of Supervisors on the status of the $1.1 billion renovation at Sacramento International Airport.

When: 11:30 a.m.

Where: Board chamber, Suite 1450, 700 H St., Sacramento.

TUESDAY

Supervisors to vote on red-light photos

What: The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors will vote on an $11.1 million contract to extend the Red Light Camera Enforcement Program, which is credited with a 76 percent reduction in car crashes at county intersections.

When: 10 a.m.

Where: Board chambers, Suite 1450, 700 H St., Sacramento.

TUESDAY

Will Capitol Mall get a new face?

What: The Sacramento City Council will decide whether to direct staff to explore a design competition for changing the face of Capitol Mall.

When: 6 p.m.

Where: Sacramento City Hall, 1st floor council chamber, 915 I St., Sacramento

TUESDAY

Police to report on racial profiling

What: The Community Racial Profiling Commission provides an update to the Sacramento City Council on racial profiling complaints and cases concerning the Sacramento Police Department.

When: 6 p.m.

Where: Sacramento City Hall, 1st floor council chamber, 915 I St., Sacramento

SATURDAY

Rural health and ID clinic

What: The Mexican consulate general will issue Mexican ID cards and passports, and Del Norte Clinics Inc. will provide free health screenings.

When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Hamilton City High School, Hwy. 32 and Canal St., Hamilton City (between Orland and Chico)
